How to Recover Unsaved Files in Excel 2013 with the Auto Saved Feature
While Working on Excel worksheet for longer than 10 minutes Excel will automatically save your workbook to a temporary folder. If you didnít save your work yet and Excel crashes or your computerís power cuts off, you can restore your file using Auto Recover feature.
How to Use Auto Recover Feature
When you open Excel and Excel has Auto Saved your workbooks, a panel will appear named Document Recovery. Here any recently AutoSaved files will be shown. You can Select any file available.
If your desired file is not available in Document Recovery Panel. You can browse your file from backstage view by Clicking File and on the right side click on Manage Versions.
Two options are being shown. One is Recover Unsaved Workbook and the second is Delete All Unsaved Workbooks. To recover a file Click on Recover Unsaved Workbooks and a Window will appear showing you all AutoSaved files if available.
